Yamato is a dual-colored offensive juggernaut that puts a strict and terrifying clock on the opponent. With [Double Attack] built directly into the Leader, every unblocked swing is a potential game-ender, trashing two life cards at once. This forces the opponent to waste resources early just to stay afloat, which in turn feeds into Yamato's secondary ability.

The real power of Yamato is revealed in the mid-game. Once the opponent hits 3 life, Yamato can recycle 2 rested DON!! every turn. This "DON!! refund" allows for incredibly high-efficiency turns where you can build a defensive or utility board (like blockers or searchers) while still maintaining a 7000+ power swing at the opponent's Leader.
