Strategic Overview

Tashigi (OP06-050) is the essential consistency engine for Blue Navy archetypes. As a 1-cost searcher that looks 5 cards deep, she is arguably the most efficient way to set up your curve and find specific removal or finisher pieces. Her ability to find any "Navy" card (except herself) ensures that your deck remains fluid and answers are always within reach.

Beyond her search ability, she provides a 1000 counter in hand, making her useful even in the late game. Her 2000 power is rarely used for attacking, but she can be used to poke at a low-power Leader or clear a 1-cost searcher from the opponent's board if necessary. She is a mandatory 4-of in virtually every Navy-focused deck.
