Strategic Overview
Tokikake is an early-game "sticky" unit designed for Blue Navy decks that play with a low hand size. His ability to grant himself battle immunity for a single DON!! makes him an annoying presence that can poke at searchers or chip away at the opponent's Leader without fear of being countered by an attack.
While he isn't a primary win condition, he excels at maintaining board presence. He forces the opponent to use effect-based removal (like Jet Pistol or Blue bounce effects) rather than simply swinging into him, which can protect your higher-value characters from those same removal spells.
