Yamato decks typically focus on a "threshold" strategy, manipulating life totals to activate her secondary effect. Once the opponent is at 3 or less life, Yamato becomes a monster, effectively granting "free" power to your attackers. This makes her one of the most dangerous closers in the game, punishing any deck that cannot maintain a high defensive wall.
