Strategic Overview

Shachi & Penguin (OP14-006) are the primary debuffers for the Heart Pirates engine. Their [When Attacking] effect is a surgical tool: by giving an opponent's character -2000 power, they turn mid-range blockers and threats into easy targets for your other attackers. This power reduction is particularly effective in Red, which thrives on K.O.ing characters based on power thresholds.

To unlock their potential, they must attack while having 5000 power or more. While their base power is only 2000, they are designed to be used with the Trafalgar Law (OP14-001) Leader effect. By swapping a 5000 or 7000 base power onto them, you activate their ability for free, allowing you to dismantle the opponent's board while still presenting a credible offensive threat.

Key Strategic Synergies

• Trafalgar Law (OP14-001): The essential enabler. Swapping their base power to 5000+ allows them to trigger their debuff without wasting DON!!.
• Urouge (OP14-002): Use Shachi & Penguin to reduce a character to 3000 power or less, making them a legal target for Urouge's K.O. effect.
• Otama (OP01-006): Stacking their -2000 reduction with Otama's -2000 can bring even a 9000 power boss monster down to a range where they can be K.O.'d by effects or easily cleared.
