Strategic Overview

Shanks (OP14-027) is a tactical board-control monster for Green decks. At 7-cost with 9000 power, he is a significant offensive threat, but his true power is passive. By simply being rested, he exerts a "fear aura" that reduces the power of all opponent characters by 1000. This creates a massive mathematical disadvantage for the opponent, making their searchers useless and their boss monsters easier to counter.

On your turn, Shanks acts as a crowd-control engine. When he becomes rested, he can freeze an opponent's character (7000 power or less). This prevents them from blocking his own massive swing or stops them from attacking on their subsequent turn.
