Strategic Overview

Giolla (OP14-064) is a highly technical utility Character that rewards players for mastering board manipulation. Her [On K.O.] effect is a two-pronged tool: it provides essential Purple resource acceleration by ramping a rested DON!! card, and it serves as a conditional removal engine. By targeting Characters with 0 base power, Giolla can "paint over" an opponent's weakened board, removing threats that have been softened by your other effects.

While her base power is low, Giolla is not meant for direct combat. She thrives in a "sacrifice" or "redirection" strategy where you intentionally force her K.O. to trigger her abilities. In a Donquixote Pirates deck, she acts as a psychological deterrent; opponents must decide if clearing her is worth giving you extra DON!! and losing one of their own weakened utility units.
