Ryuma is an absolute cornerstone for Green control decks, particularly in Perona and Wano-themed archetypes. His efficiency is legendary: for just 4 cost, you get a solid 6000 power body that K.O.s a rested 4-cost character twice—once on entry and again if the opponent manages to remove him. This makes Ryuma an incredible deterrent, forcing opponents to either ignore him and face 6000 power swings or K.O. him and lose another board piece.
His value skyrockets when paired with Leaders or effects that can rest active characters. He excels at punishing utility units and blockers, effectively clearing the path for your larger threats. Because his effect triggers on death as well, he is the ultimate "punishment" card that maintains board parity even when cleared.
