What makes this Arlong unique is his ability to search for any card with a cost of 2 or more, giving him significantly more flexibility than searchers restricted by tribal tags.

Strategically, Arlong is your primary "deck lubricant." Early in the game, he helps you find your mid-range tempo pieces like Aladine or Hatchan. In the late game, he becomes a high-value tool for digging up game-ending boss monsters or high-cost removal events.
